 Morgan Fay began dancing as a child, studying ballet and jazz, before delving into the world of fusion belly dance at the age of sixteen.

Since that time she has studied with many influential instructors and performers of Fusion belly dance, American Cabaret, Raqs Sharki, and more.

She currently performs as both a soloist (Fusion and American Cabaret Belly Dance), and as a member of several troupes and group projects based out of Portland, OR, including Allegro Dance Project and Baksana, a fun and folky belly dance busking troupe that dances solely to live music.

For three years (2013 – 2015), Morgan Fay had the great honor of being part of Rachel Brice’s Datura Project, as well as being a part of the Apsara Experience in 2013.

She has been a local guest dancer for several artists in the Portland area including the Jenny Finn Orchestra, Smut City Jellyroll Society, Arabesque, Ritim Egzotik, and Sepiatonic.

She also performed as a member of Basharaat Dance Company, directed by Hallie Marie, from 2005-2012, and co-directed Basharaat between 2011-2012. She is now a guest performer with Basharaat Dance Company whenever she is in their area.
